So obviously our cars have the old school ipod/iphone dock connector. Is anyone using the adaptor that apple sells from 30pin (old style) to the new lighting connector? If so does everything work properly?

I have an 09 with iPod connector and I tried my new iPhone along with the adapter and it did not work. Said please wait for a few and then gave an "Error" message.

Ive been using it and it works... lately though I just use bluetooth audio... only use the media interface to charge.

You need to buy the 2010 and up connector at the dealer for $50 (the one you have is white, the new one is black). It adds up!

Buy that and a car charger and forever change your life. There is a charger in the glove compartment that you can use and you can just stick the cable in the aux port.

Sounds amazing!!! But I don't have an AUX port in my CL. Pretty sad.

Mine works but not 100% properly.. I have an issue with playlists. Some appear ok, some show up empty and others have the wrong songs in..
Tried to find out what is wrong but had no luck
