That is like adding the mercedes, ferrari, lamborghini, porsche, and every other luxury car together and multiplying by 10. Ok, not really, but that is really expensive if you're in the US.
I was quoted $380 for everything but the windshield here in Illinois and that was for F1 Pinnacle at 35%.
Maybe shop around a little before pulling the trigger.

There are tons of people on this board from Cali. Be sure to reach out next time you want to do anything custom. I'm sure someone here will be able to point you in the right direction.

(Knock on wood) I also had my windows up all the time, since i can't even roll my windows down yet.
Interesting story - a friend of mine who lives in LA just told me about an incident where she was involved in a fender bender. A cop wa right across the street so she flagged him down. He asked if anyone was injured and she said she didn't know yet. He declined to take a report if there were no present injuries because "there are more important things to tend to." Of course I responded to her story, "like giving me fix-it tickets."
Chicago continues to give out $250 fines for those who tint their windows and drive through the city. This is the only reason I have not gotten my windows tinted yet, but I really want 35% all around.
