Go with the great deal and install a quaife lsd later on. That's what I did. Some might say a LSD is not necessary, but i feel it's essential requirement for this car.

I strongly recommend the Performance Package (includes the diff). Besides the Diff being under warranty, the forged internals, Factory Tune, 2 piece rotors are all worth it. Definitely install the diff if you go for the car without. But I feel that if you are purchasing this car having the stronger engine components covered under warranty is worth it, especially if you are going to tune the car or drive it hard.

I always wanted the ppplus but i would have settled for just ltdslip as i thought the new gearboxes are mint..and now because i know someone who works there ive been offerd a great spec car but no ltdslip...does it handle crap without it? and if so why not fit them as standard.

Slightly off topic.
Anyone in Australia that has installed the quaife LSD on their non LSD C63 Coupe PP?
How much was the total cost and assuming it voids the warranty?

it depends on how you use the car...for calm daily driving, lsd is not going to matter. however, once you begin pushing the car, lsd makes a tremendous difference.
i generally drive with stability turned off or at least in sport mode, and limited slip makes a huge difference in throttle steering the car.
it was the first option i checked off on my build sheet, followed by the development package.

(a)'12 C63 P/P, LSD, 19" m/spoke,comfort pack. (b)Astra SRI.
LSD??....GO FOR IT.....it should be standard.
Especially if you go for the the Performance Package...which shows you're interested in "performance".....so yeah,....GO FOR IT.
Cheers, Pickles.
