Canadian C63 Owners - Command Traffic (SiriusXM Traffic)
Any of you Canadian C63 owners subscribe to SiriusXM traffic? I've tried to signup and Sirius keeps telling me my car is not compatible.
Do the Canadian C63 Command units come with Sirius traffic or is it pulling its traffic information from the plain old FM transmission?
Thanks

Sirius Canada doesn't currently offer Satellite traffic services in Canada.
I tried to sign up for it a couple of months ago, and they don't offer that service in Canada.
So if you're getting traffic info, I wonder where it's coming from?

I also see traffic updates. This leads me to believe these are FM updates. I called Mercedes Customer Relations and they also aren't sure how I am getting traffic updates...

I received several calls from them and saying they are have huge savings on their program and stuff. but I refused. Just give them a call and they can figure it out.

Finally figured this out... 2011+ W204s get traffic through Sirius Navtraffic, not through FM-TMC (free) as I originally thought. I guess I was getting traffic through a trial subscription. It finally ended and my comand screen would say "call sirius to activate" when I hit the traffic function.
Dealing with Sirius was painful. None of their agents said my radio could support navtrafic. I finally gave up after talking to 3 different agents who said my unit was not compatible as I only had one ESN number.
I finally tried a last ditch attempt via their online chat. Originally the agent said not supported. I asked her to check again - she said yes she can add it. She added it to my account and I now have traffic updates again.
One caveat - I signed up with Sirius USA... not Sirius Canada (because of all the issues I have been reading from others trying to get Navtraffic activated with Sirius Canada).

When my free trial initially ran out I was still getting traffic updates as well. Everything hit the fan when I resubscribed with Sirius USA.
