My 1st Detail!!! Finally!!!

As many of you remember, I bought my car last August and never got a detail since . At the time, the paint was covered with swirls, the wheel barrels were just dirty-dirt along with the chrome exhaust tips.

So, I figured it was about damn time to get my car detailed and looking sharp again. I took my car on Wednesday to my good buddy, Mike of Divinus Detail, who details cars to the extreme. Never have I ever been more fascinated by the work of a detailer. From what I've seen and experienced, this is probably the best detail I've ever received.

Mike's very meticulous and it usually takes him 2-3 days to detail a car. He takes so much pride in his work. And the products he used are not cheap. I was just wow'd by his exquisite collection of high-end detailing products. It's no wonder why some may consider him over-priced and he'll tell you that. But honestly, it's all about the results. You pay what you get. Now, my paint is hella smooth now, no swirls. My wheels are super clean. My exhaust tips shine like no other. I'm now officially a happy camper. Thank you Mike .

Here are some Before/After Pix:

Before:

And Voila!!!

If anyone in so cal is ever interested in getting a high-end detail, Mike is the go-to guy. Hands down! He's located in Lakewood and mobile too. You may contact him at titanium_fe3p@yahoo.com or facebook.com/DetailManiac. He says he's booked until January. That's how crazy he is.

EDIT: His Website is http://www.divinusdetail.com. Feel free to check out his portfolio. His contact number is (562) 595-2867. MBWORLD USERNAME: CU2MIKE

Happy Holidays to everyone!

looks sweet, esp the shot of your car 100% soaped up. seeing your front lip completely intact and undamaged makes me jealous, lol.

I'm confused and hopefully you can clarify this. How did you get your car detailed by them when they're only located in northern cal/sacramento area and you're in Los Angeles? I called them and said they don't have any location in LA.

Is Mike the same guy that's with this company? http://detailmaniac.com/

Sorry for the confusion. According to Mike, detailmaniac.com used to be his domain and he sold it to his friend in nor cal. However, Mike's facebook is still under facebook.com/detailmaniac because facebook would not allow him to change his username.

Thanks for clarifying.

So i'm guessing Mike is local here in LA and is mobile as well??

That website you keep pointing out shows invalid. Google'd it and the correct FB site is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Detail...39026669459879

Even though the FB page still refers to the northern cal location.

Yes, Mike is local and mobile. As for the facebook, that I didn't know about. I don't use Facebook. I just post what Mike told me. I mean if you're interested, I can PM you his number. I'm just his friend who appreciates his work.

Nice job!! Looks better than new. But how did you let all the swirls get on ur paint like this... how often to you wash & wax ur car? I wash my car almost once a week & wax it every six months, no problem at all.

I guess keeping up the car can save us big $$ in detailing cost.

I'm willing to bet you have them too, they're just really hard to see in white paint.

I doubt, my white paint is immaculate. Thx to it being my weekend car & my frequent wash although she is my garage queen.

I'm just **** about my paint, I don't even let dust settle on my paint. Lol

It's the actual act of washing it that creates the clearcoat swirls though. You can follow the lines of the car instead of doing circles, wash it often so there isn't much debris, foam/soap it first and spray it off but no matter what it's something you can't fully avoid. your technique and ****-ness(lol) can severely change how bad or not it is. I've always owned black cars except for one blue one, such a pain in the ***. You're exactly the kind of person that I hope is selling the c63 that I buy from - wish everyone took care of their cars

i agree about the swirlies. i had one black car in the past, and keeping that b clean was a fulltime job. always hand washed, then glazed to remove swirls, then hand waxed with my fingers. as much as i love the look of clean black cars, i can't deal with the upkeep. and yes, i am a**l about it. lol.
