Best car moments of 2012
I have a few pretty cool car moments over this year that I would like to share with you all. Would like to hear your top car moments as well (doesnt have to be about the c63)
- my C63 placing 3rd at the annual PureMB bbq.
- attending many meets and getting to know some of you... the bad side to this is I keep finding new areas to mod the car
- road trip to NJ (9hr drive) to pick up some car stuff.
- wife driving a C63 for the first time during a test drive... took it on the 407 and destroyed an infiniti G37 that was taunting us to let loose. after the test drive, she said, ok lets buy a c63
- infiltrating a BMW event with the C63 lol. funny moment here was in course section for handling test, after trying out the new 3 series, an instructor came up to me and asked how i liked it. I told him it was pretty sweet (and it was, the new 3 is really nice.. and this was the 335 with M package). I also told him that i would like to try the course with my own car. He told me I would be surprised at how poorly my car would do on the course. I said, maybe but I have confidence in my car. He then asked me what I drove... I told him a C63. He hesitated for a moment then said' uhh due to insurance purposes we cant take our own cars on the course'

+3 on the AMG Driving Academy. I got to do it in Laguna Seca, which was a treat on its own.
Of note, my 1 month old stock car won 1st place best OEM and 2nd place best euro (lost to a modded M3) in a local Importmeet. I thought that was funny.

Driving my BS off the showroom floor at MB San Diego. It was a canceled order, and my original salesman knew I was looking for one. Just my luck it was also diamond white like I had wanted. I also drove it cross country from Cali to Florida. That was a fun road trip.

2012 C63 AMG Black Series
Mine was the Muskoka cruise in late September. Besides ripping up backroads I handed it to an M3 and a 335 on Meth when we lined up! Gained 4-5 car lengths on the M3 and 8-10 on the 335!!! Its was all around the most fun!

First would be my roadtrip this summer in southern europe. Second, during that trip, was sitting next to my wife for several hours while she was driving 250 kph whenever she could. Third would have to be my second roadtrip to install the KW DDC kit, especially the road back north enjoying the new suspension. Let's see what 13 brings along. Also on an offside i dreamt my dealership had surprisingly installed the M157 on my car...weird, i know, but those are the dreams of automobile enthusiasts
