Is this just a U.S. thing? I have always assumed it was something that could be set in STAR. Of course, a dealer might not do it, but they aren't the only one with access to do modifications in the software.

Very true, but once you get in there you can do a lot of cool stuff, at least on some other models, from what I understand. Of course all the menus are in German.

I know they can program out the Eco mode on the 157 engine when tuning. I will see if they can program out the reset mode too. My CLS is going in for some more mods next week.
