How to remove chrome surround trim for C63 DRL's?

How to remove chrome surround trim for C63 DRL's?
Hey gang,

Does anyone know how to take off the chrome surrounding trim for the DRL's? Do they pull right out? I tried pulling on these, but no dice.

I'm looking to do a DIY vinyl wrap on these pieces.

They just pop out once you pull on them. I was able to do it with my fingers. I plastidipped and put em back on.

I think the best way to do it is to remove your bumper. You need to pry them out.

I just wrapped them with it on the car...

btw is there a tutorial on how to remove the bumper? It looks really complicated LOL. i want to do the front lip for my 2012 which i believe needs bumper removal

Removing the front bumper is not that complicated. 2 10mm bolts on each side (behing the wheel well), 2 10mm bolts on each side of the grill, a few torx 15 underneath and that's pretty much it

You need to disconnect the DRLs, and sidemarkers only

edit: and the temp sensor as well

I dont like the dtr lights , so I just installed black acrylic over them and drive with the 'C" lights....

I wrapped mine with CF vinyl while they were still on the car.....there is decent enough returns around them to tuck in the edges..
