Weistec Is Building Me Another Monster

Its not even close. Asking someone how much something costs is not foreign to a car forum. Since when has it been? When I started a thread about my C63 BS, many people asked me what it cost. I got flamed for not answering because the deal wasn't closed yet. I eventually answered, but I wasn't upset about it. I don't begrudge people who want to know how much things cost. Especially when there are things that are not listed - like labor or even how many hours it would take so I could make that calculation myself.

To be honest I don't have an exact number yet. I am not all that concerned with the overall cost, we spoke about some general ball park numbers and that's good enough to get the project started. I would be happy to share the price once I have a final figure. I would suggest calling Weistec for a quote if you are considering a blower, I would hate to misquote a price as I am not an expert in their product line.

Stage 3 750hp cost 15k plus 2k for install and 5k for the tranny upgrade.
To hit 1000hp you will need everything Weistec has plus labor 10k and a few other items that aren't listed, prob another 5k.
Doing the work yourself can make it more economical.

I didnt mean to sound like a jerk but what Jim and I have done are quite specialized and to quote an exact price is likely on a case by case basis as there are so many factors (like what previous mods have to be undone, what was the state of the car when started, etc.).

LOL, actually this company is not professional at all. I have a good friend that owns a car dealership and is always constantly shipping cars to and from his dealership and top and from auctions and to customers across the country, I usually piggyback my vehicles on his loads. When this truck showed up I was a little apprehensive about loading my car on the trailer. I own a trucking company so I can just glance at the equipment and know if it is well maintained or not, this equipment was not well maintained, at least in my professional opinion. Usually this company has great equipment and service so I am guessing they were busy and brokered out this load to an owner operator or a thrid party hauler. I saw all their insurance and bonding paperwork so I said what the hell and loaded it up. It was enclosed and on air ride but I would not reccomend this specific carrier or at least this specific truck lol
