JRCART will have a few additional modifications such as trunk ice tank, and a few extra coolers and this is something thank can vary in costs. Either way, give us a call and we can discuss more in detail. Thank you!!

Slightly OT, but I think relevant with the increased power levels... How much TQ/HP can the MCT handle? What do you guys do hardware wise to raise/revise the limits and could the MCT handle, say, 1000 ft lbs? thx!

It depends which MCT you are referring to. The 2012 up MCT can handle the power of our Stage 3 system with no issues. MB used many of the internals that are used in the M157 which makes a lot of torque. Anything past the Stage 3 power level (about 769 hp) will need a transmission build.
Cooling is a huge factor for transmission longevity as well. The C Black Series has additional coolers that aid in this department, where as a regular C63 doesn't. Hope this helps.

FYI, I run the Weistec 722.9 bullet Proof in my CLK BS which now makes over 1000hp and I can verify that it is indeed bullet proof

I do not want to talk you out of from spending money with Weistec but they just said in their above post that your trans can handle up to 769hp. If they say it's 769 then it is 769, that's a whole lot of power. What mods do you have or are you currently planning? My advice stick with your stock trans for now and spend the money on some other Wesitec goodies to inch you closer to that 769hp mark, once you get there then drop the coin on the trans upgrade....that's how I would do it.

Their 2.3L kit is amazing, I ran it for over a year, it offers more HP than most people will ever need, the 3.0L ups the ante a little and has more top end HP potential. To be honest I was just going to go with the 2.3L on the C BS becuase I didn't want the heat related issues that sometimes go along with a blower for road course use but after talking with Steve he said something that makes a lot of sense, he said the 3.0L will actually make less heat in the state of tune they are planning on putting on my car because it does not have to work as hard to make HP, basically it can run at 80% output and make mor eHP than the 2.3L can at 100% output which equates to less work and less heat. I am by no means an expert, they know their stuff, call up and ask to talk with one of them if you have not already. Just tell them what you are looking to accomplish HP/performance wise with your Black Series and they will steer you into the correct set-up. They are not a one trick pony, they have a huge product line now so they can mix and match their stuff to give you exactly what you are looking for. They are not just going to sell you a bunch of stuff and say now you're on your own, they will sell you what you need, no more and no less. This will be my 3rd Weistec blower that I am having installed on the C BS, that has to tell you guys something.

Jim, it appears you are going to have another insane beast on your hands. Hopefully I will bump into you at a Supercar Saturdays or Cars and Coffee this summer and see it first hand.

I do not know the official answer, hopefully Weistec will chime in, however what I can tell you is from my personel experience I was able to get my 2008 CLK BS up to about 630rwhp with the stock trans. I got to that number with the Weistec 2.3L unit, LT's, cat delete and a race gas tune. I think if you are thinking of going with the 3.0L I would do the trans upgrade....especially the way you launch

I had the 3.0L on for a while before they developed the trans upgrade. Throw the blower on first and just do the trans if and when it starts to slip.

Any chance you can get Weistec to do a "C63 Black Supercharged Photo Journal" ? I am sure we would all love to see the process of the build with frequent pic updates.
You know how much we all love to pics of shinny engine parts.
