Need advise from our canadian members

What would be the cheapest way to ship c63 parts like front and rear bumpers to the US?
And how much are we talking about?
Would the shipping cost be based on weight or size? or both?

it always depends on where in Canada. in my case, the cheapest, fastest way is to drive across the border and ship from Buffalo, NY.
You're going to pay by weight and size, ground is usually cheaper than air, but international delivery is a huge premium.

I sent a 20" trophy from Ottawa to Charlotte last year via UPS. $320, slowest delivery. I shipped another one from Buffalo (drove across Niagara) using UPS to Atlanta for $33.

LOL - That's INSANITY.

I can pay that much using Fed Ex if I register with them and they're known to be the most expensive out here. I mean I am getting shipping quotes via air from Dubai to the US at around $650 for 19" wheels with tires.

With duties too? Thats a really good price. I didnt actually shop around I just called up UPS and told them size, weight and destination. PArt of my issue was that it was next day air since the member wanted to have them for his trade on on his car. Long story short I sold them locally instead.

Ship via Canpar ground. Very reasonable. Or find someone with a VIP account with ups and FedEx .... Save you 50-70%

OK. Next day is a little high. But 2 -3 days delivery is good. and for the price good. I mean $650 from across the world for 19" wheels with tires and fuel surcharges is great. 1000$ was really high man. Just need to phone 2 or 3 companies and mention quotes from otheres and then they drop their prices.

i have access to a vip account with Fedex and even then I believe Canpar is cheaper. however, Fedex will zip your product there much much faster.

recently shipped a package from here to Germany. took 2 business days thru standard express. but it was pretty expensive tbh

I do alot of cross bored shipping and selling... I find the cheapest rates are between Canada Post and UPS, if your shipping big things like bumpers etc Greyhound within Canada is the cheapest option. I don't think they go international however.

5 - 18" wheels costs me about $230 by ups, 330 by canada post box sizes 24x24x11 37 lbs each

One trick which they don't like you to know about is if your sending something in the states don't go to ups.ca have your friend in the states create a ups.com account and pretend to be you... you will save more money...
