Hmm? I can't burn out or my car can't?
CTSVOwners.com is a great site.
Here is a V with Nitrous putting down 791 rwhp
Without nitrous the car makes in the upper 600 range at the wheels.
Nice!! One more step closer to real C63 owner!! Lol
U guys made my day!!
Thx for all the info!!

Have a GOOD DAY!!
should we get back to the convo?ha, no it's not but we are definitely way past that....
I had a 2009 C63 and had no problem with doing burnouts in S or Manual mode with ESP OFF.
I have taken my CLS63 to the track and could not get it to do a burnout (which is not really a big deal as I am using stock tires) but my major issue is that I cannot power brake and hold like a 2K or 3K rpm to launch.
The car bogs down as I soon as I approach 2K RPM and will basically stay at idle with my pedal partially or fully depressed.
I have tried depressing slowly till I could feel the tires breaking loose or mashing the throttle and I am getting the same results. Computer is intervening and not letting the power thru.
AND YES, ESP is fully off with the yellow icon on my dash. This is not my first rodeo.
I am about to get a tune but before I do it, I am wondering if my car has an issue.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The other chassis do not seem to have that issue. I am having a tough time grasping that the E (same engine and trans) or C class would be able to do burnouts and not the CLS.
Additional info: I even put the car in dyno mode which should disable all possible nannies and I was able to spin the tires one time. When I tried a second time, it did bog down again...
I am really not that concerned about burnouts but my main issue is not being able to power brake and mesh the pedal with a 3K rpm start. The car will simply not let me go beyond 2K rpm and bogs down. That make no sense knowing that the race start allows a 3.5K launch
Car still does the same and will not do burn out in ESP off or Dyno mode.
AMG tech stated that in ESP off that the car protects the wet clutch and it is normal...
He will double check with germany on the Dyno mode as he thinks it should do it then.
I have confirmed with 2 tuners that 2013 or 2014 will do burnouts upon demand (if 2014 -> 4 wheel burnouts
). Now the amount of pressure applied to the brakes is key and too much braking will not get the tires to spin and there could be a torque setting that would kick in and turn power off.Tuners have indicated they do adjust the torque setting so may be the tune would help. I am really reluctant to go that route until I exhaust the factory route.
