Its not a BS
its a 2012 Sedan model with Performance pack (how they call it here in ME) and everything else is stock
They cut the longest straight on circuit and they made a chicane so i manage to get around 230km/h max
When i did second track session and changed gears almost on red line it went to limp mode after 2 rounds. On this video that was a 3rd exit i was changing gears approx 1000rpm before red line and it took me 3 laps to limp mode.
Outside temp was around 28C and limp mode comes when oil temp reach around 138C
Still playing with tire pressure for a track cause that was first time i took C63 there so have some problems with that

awsome vid .. you look like pro with that helmet too 
.. are you trying to set better times ? may i recommend staying in the power band more often, there are areas where you shift too early, and in other instances you dont need to shift at all, exiting a corner with the right amount of power is key .. im talking about the 54 second mark

Well helmets a must here on a track so my motorbike helmet had some use in a car too 
All critics and suggestions are welcome cause next time ill try to improve my time but keep in mind that didnt wanna push car to the engine limit due to limp mode. By the way car is at the service now and they told me that i have new software installed which will help with limp mode (first time when i took car for a service they didnt know what i was talking about even when i showed them letter from AMG about it) so will check next time on a track

about the 54 second mark, if you had stayed in second gear ( i assume it wasn't first ) , then by the time you got to the end of strip, all you need to do is hit the break a tiny bit to turn .. the reason is .. you can only go so fast in second gear, also, the car makes its power in the upper RPM range, so staying in second effectively gets you to the corner quickly and out of it quickly too .. ill try to find a video to explain what i saying

I did that in previous laps and yeap was second gear but on that small strip you will hit red line which is ok. Still learning and will need a good instructor here
mange to check a video of Ferrari 458 on the same track and i was slower 12 seconds

would say you can shave 5-7 seconds easy .. good luck .. btw you live in abu dhabi, dubai ? or where exactly ? im bringing my car back home to kuwait after i graduate this may, but im worried headers will be an issue for emissions, was wondering if that is something they check for ?
