Hi all,

Has any one ran

19" 8.5 et45 with 20mm spacers (effectively ET25) up front

19" 9.5 ET45 with 10mm spacers (ET35)Rear

(Wheels won't clear brakes without the spacers) none lowered

What 19's are you running that don't clear the brakes?

Factory 18's clear the brakes

Hi Osgee,

I test-fitted a similar setup 8,5x19 ET39 and 9,5x19 ET39 and the wheels wouldn't clear the brakes.

I had to use 15mm spacers in front and 10mm in the rear.
So in the front I had 8,5x19 ET24 and it looked like this:

And this was the rear with a 10mm spacer so 9,5x19 ET29

They were Cargraphic Racing wheels and I only test fitted them (never driven on this setup).
The offsets were too extreme but I think I could have made it work with 215/35/19 and 225/35/19 haha
Otherwise it wouldn't work.

I take it you had to do arch modifications to the front as well as the rear?

Not really bud. If I lower it for sure. I am on a 245 up front. If I want to lower it, I'd need to fit a 225/235 but opted against lowering it. Right now they are really really flush.

Photos are crap as rims dirty, callipers dirty and car dirty.

Oh, different wheels than the ones in ur sig.. Sam u r changing wheels like u change shirts. Lol

U need to take pics from the back or front like Matt did to see the flushness. My 18x8 +33mm OEM 19's & my HRE 19x8.5 +41mm are flush.. So I'm impressed u r running +20mm.

LOL - sometimes I go to meet guys / customers etc and they ask about the set of rims on my car so I sell them (for more than I get them) and then get a new set for a month or so

Will get some pics taken.

I see you said 33 offset on OEM 19s? The 19's are 45 offset so I am assuming you've a 12mm spacer up front?

Thanks Abcut, yep Japanese rims - also got a little bit of a concave on them. The offsets are just crazy.

Flushness:

Those have been cut and then fixed to widen between 40 and 45mm. They can not fit a 305 with a right offset but the 295 is much safer.

Below it's alongside a standard C63 so you can see the widened arch.
