I also don't think it will beat a 2012 P31 on a 0-60 or to the quarter mile on a track or even around a track (unless it is wet) but in the real roads with: dust, oil, water, bumps etc. It just gets up and goes where my C63 (that had hp similar to a P31) would be struggling for grip. Don't get me wrong, I do miss the slip and slide fun to be had with the C63 and the louder exhaust note but this thing is mind bending how it always has tons of grip and torque down low. I guess its the whole transition of knowing when I would just be laying rubber on the ground to this sudden. 'more traction for you sir' attitude of the ML. For the moment, I'm still getting to grips with the PP package's 557hp and 760Nm. Maybe later....
