C63 AMG Edition 507 Pricing Announced

My dealer said that if I hate the stripes they will remove them for me, but yeah, some thing s will take getting used to, the lack of clours, interior combos, but the tradeoff is a unique car at a great price.

The stripes were one of the weird things in my eyes too. But I saw the vid of the black 507 coupe rolling around in Germany and they were VERY subtle on black. I may end up keeping the stripes.

Its official, the US pricing has been announced...
"The other special models are the C63 AMG 507 Edition Sedan, priced from $70,000 plus $925 for destination and delivery, and the C63 Edition 507 Coupe that starts at $72,500, excluding $925 for destination and delivery."

The price for the SLS Black Series has also been announced:
"To get into the specifics, the 2014 SLS AMG Black Series will set you back $275,000 plus $1,800 for destination and delivery, or $75,100 more than your run-of-the mill 583hp SLS AMG Coupe."

Americans: Don't try to understand Australian prices. Luxury tax and import duties in order to support a socialist government.
Australians: I feel sorry for you. I'd avoid looking at US prices if I was you. I'm Australian (ex-Sydney), have been in Texas for 10 years, haven't looked back. Car heaven here.

Ouch - was hoping for a better price here.
2013 prices are $59,800 and $62,300. Both are $10,200 lower that the 507 prices. These do not include $905 destination and $1,700 gas guzzler. Can't tell whether the gas guzzler tax is included in the 507 prices.
Comparable options on the 2013 would include P31 ($6,050) and leather ($3,090), which would bump the 2013 up within about a grand of the 507. The 507 includes an extra 20-25 hp, 19" wheels, the BS hood and the lovely JC Whitney-like decals, which is a pretty good deal for a thousand buck. I guess it's a lot for the money, but was hoping for something more agressive to help boost sales.

Agreed, it would be much better if they included the lighting package in edition 507 at no extra cost.
With the addition of lighting and Multimedia, we are roughly looking at $75k (sedan) + gg and destination

2014 C63 Coupe
I posted in another thread on this subject that it is my understanding that leather is an additional option on the 507. What comes standard with the 507 is a combination leather/Dinamica interior. I recently ordered a coupe (non 507). The 507 option would have added $9,700 to my order.
