VEHICLE WEIGHT ?
any of you guys ever scale your car and what results did you get ? what mods , if any , do you have for the result ?

C63AMG, NIssan NX2000, Pontiac Fiero GT
Our cars are porky little pigs, but lovable. Mfgrs cannot do "light." Partly because of FED reg, partly sound , NVH, and a circus of electronic gadgets, partly because the c63 is Mercedes and must be trainlike on the autobahn.
Corvette does a good job, now with dry carbon, but still exceeds 3000 lbs. Audi brags year to year and even resorts to aluminum frames with fat increasing to over 4000 lbs. Even Lotus gave up the one ton barrier. Alpha promised their new 1800 cc wonder to be under 2000 lbs and it is already over before production. The C 63 aluminum hood is wasted (though lovely) for the ?20 lb savings.
Even Mc Claren's newest is a porker. To make 'em fly takes more and more HP so turbos are the rage again. Something's got to give.
