Need Chicago Lawyer: 75 in a 35
The thought that he did any jail time for even 75 in a 35, even with a long record, is far fetched.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Coupled with the attorney's fee of $450, we are talking less than a grand.
No points.
No court appearance for me.
No missed work.
I need to drive very slowly until mid-July...
I appreciate your support but I'm in a bit of a jam here... Took me a few hours just to get access to the one computer here with Internet access and after reading about the stuff going on in Boston I couldn't help but log on to MBworld... This keyboard I am typing on is beyond nasty... hopefully my attorney will get me out of here soon... I am pretty sure I've got the fastest ride on my cell block, but there is no car talk in here
For anybody who newly installs radar detector and laser jammer, please pease please test them out before you go out for a drive, wish I had done that.
Cheers, Pickles.
You don't have to drive "very slowly" all the time. You just need to drive a li'l slower than..um..."75 in 35". A lot of people drive 40 in 35 all the time. A lot of people drive75 in 65 all the time. It's the 75 in 35, which is asking for trouble.
I know our cars are capable, and many a times the roads are underrated, but if a cop spots you doing 75 in 35, the ramifications are far worse than 45 in 35.
I just hope you have learnt your lesson as regards staying under control.
? LOL

good for you & stay safe
Does this look like a deserted unoccupied side road or a new subdivision road to you? I see two full lighted intersections with several retail drives that come in and out of the thoroughfare. He was doing twice the posted speed limit. Speed limits have nothing to do with the time of day or whether they are empty or full. You choose to break the law then you pay your dues. Don't come crying here looking for an attorney when you the bus stop your waiting on probably has one advertised right there. Prob best that you stop bashing others like myself for admonishing the OP.

In Australia we have the same issues...and we have speed cameras, radar...mobile & stationary...EVERYWHERE.
For sure..in SOME cases 75 in a 35 is serious stuff.....but NOT always.....and not evrywhere. I mean on a totally deserted road...where no-one is around.....except a camera?.....IMHO, there needs to be some element of "dangerous driving" that needs to be proven. That is the way it used to be.....but not any more. In Aus 30kph "over" around 23MPH?....and ya can loose ya license.....and yet, people are getting away with serious assaults, burglaries, all sorts of serious stuff, sometimes with a bond, sometimes with nothing at all...just a slap on the wrist.
I've had my rant.....I'm now ready to be flamed.
Cheers, Pickles.

Sounds terrible, I've heard about the increasing crime once you lost your gun rights. I was looking for somewhere to move to when things get too bad here, I considered Austratia but I found it sounded worse. I wonder if there is anywhere we can be free from politicians or political correctness anymore, sometimes our middle eastern friends seem to have alot more automotive freedom than us from what I've seen in the videos from there, but I'm assuming there are other costs
