Status Seats for your W204 *Limited Availability*
Alright guys, we have a forum member's car here right now to get Status seats installed. These will be able to utilize the OEM seat belts and we will have an entire detailed write up with pictures showing how we made it all work once it's done. These are in production so I am hoping to get it all posted up in the next week or so once we have a final product.
Status is doing a limited run of brackets for the W204. There are going to be 9 other pairs of seat brackets available and will only be sold with pairs of Status seats. Shoot me a PM or send an email to Arsha@vividracing.com and I will work out a package deal with special MBWorld Pricing on anything in the Status line up! Even the Icon customized seats.
Ring
The Ring bucket seat is the flagship of Status Racing. Status Racing's all new Standard series is designed for those drivers that want a high quality racing seat, superior functionality, and want it fast! The Standard series is available in simple red, blue, or black color with a white Status Logo. Knowing how important comfort is for driving, the seat includes a contoured foam cushion as a standard feature as well as side bolster padding. All Status Ring seats are FIA Certified. The Ring is a narrow seat designed for no more then a 32-33 waist size. Please see our video for more information.

Ring GT
Status Racing's all new Standard series is designed for those drivers that need a high quality racing seat, superior functionality, and a seat that fits larger people! The Standard series is available in simple red, blue, or black color with a white Status Logo.

The Ring GT-X though looks the same at a glance, is different in many ways. The basic changes in this new seat is a combination of the Ring and Ring GT. The lower hip portion is the same size as the Ring GT for larger drivers but flared out on the thigh bolsters to accomondate even more space then the Ring GT. Its slight V shape still gives great support in the leg area but without compromising function. The top half of the Ring GT-X is basically the same as the Ring seat. This was done to accomondate fitment to cars where the Ring GT was to wide. Now with the narrower top, the seat can fit both larger drivers and in smaller tuner cars

These seats can be done in custom colors and materials via the Icon line
Weights will vary slightly depending on what materials you choose, for example I know leather brings the weight of the seat up by almost 5 lbs
Status Spa with Sliders: 30.7 LBS
Status Ring with side brackets and sliders: 21.6 LBS
Both of those seats would require the actual mounting bracket to be added on at another 10 LBS which still makes the SPA 20 lbs lighter then the OEM seat
BAD430BENZ's C63 in the background and that was the seat that is going into his car that I weighed. Hope you enjoy these things bud!

for some great seats! I had the status ring for my driver seat in the 55 and it was GREAT! Terrific quality and it kept me right in the seat during track time. Would definitely recommend them to anyone interested!

For those of you who have this seats , how tall are you and much you weight?
When on the track are you using OEM seat belt?
Is there any problem by using the OEM seat belt?
And are you having problem with the airbag lights and how you fix it?
Thank you

2) i am using the oem seatbelts on mine , which Vivid took care of for me
3) you are removing a factory seat , which has airbags in it or attached to it , so you will have the airbag light on . my dealership is very mod friendly with my cars , because i am one of the few that has a custom Mercedes , so i will take the car to them and have them flash the airbag lights off
back in the day , i had a turbo G35 and had Veilside seats and Veilside steering wheel and the dealership , which happens to be the same owner as the Mercedes dealership , flashed all the airbag lights off that car also .

Currently only doing pairs because the brackets are built in pairs of left and right and we are only doing a limited run of pairs of the brackets.

if you want the SRS light off all you have to do is buy the seat pad sensor, plug it in and stick it under your seat cushion if you can.
and those seats look amazing. I need a set now
