Why did you buy the C63 Black Series?
I have started the process of moving abroad to a beautiful place where the cars' prices don't ruin me. Now as i have studied i have come to understand that compared to other high end cars, the C63 is quite expensive. Why buy the BS when you can get an SL 65 cheaper, an SLS at the same price and 458 italia etc etc at basically the same price. It just does not make sense to me. On mobile.de i found a gorgeous solar beam black series but 10k more and i had a nearly 0 km driven italia...hard to pick a car.
I am not disrespecting your purchase, i just want to know why you got the BS instead of something else? And no, this is not comparable to why i did not buy the M3 instead of C63.

458 Italia? Are you kidding? Those are way more expensive than a C63 Black Series. Looks like $200k is the cheapest 458 in the US (and it has 32k miles). Used SL-65's go for anywhere from $43k to $250k, depending on year/miles/whether it's Black Series or not. You're comparing apples to oranges. Compare the C63 Black Series to actually something in the same price range, and by that I mean cars when new are in the same price range w/ similar purpose.

Uh.. those cars that you mentioned are above the price range of a C63 Black. In my price range here in the US - $100k-140k, there was only a handful of cars I was entertaining that were two seat performance cars: Audi R8 V8, Used R8 V10, Used SLS, Really Used Gallardo, Porsche 911 Turbo, 911 GT3/GT3 RS (Used). The SL and CL cars are too big for me to be considered a true perforamance car for the track.
I ended up on the C63 BS because it is unique and I have not ONCE seen another one around me (Northern Cali where there is probably only 6 running around). Its faster than R8 V8. More raw than R8 V10. Better looking (in my opinion than a stock SLS). More aggressive looking than GT3. More liveable than GT3 RS.
Plus the details are what set it apart - OEM coilovers with a wrench included and instructions in the owner's manual on how to change the height, rebound, compression of the car! OEM adjustable rear spoiler (aero) again described in the manual on how to adjust it.
Finally, it is a great driver's car - far different setup than a standard C63 Coupe (if you look at even the alignment specs you can tell) and it's done well in a lot of published testing.
I love my car. I plan to keep it for the rest of my life. Just like I love my Audi Rs4.

Wow... I guess its over there.. the reason that C63 must be so high is the SolarBeam Yellow Paint - I've never seen one in person or even know someone who has it. Otherwise, I doubt a standard C63 would be priced above a 458 unless something is wrong with the 458. I myself, would get the 458 if there is nothing wrong with it.

Thank you, great motivations! I'm just trying to figure out what to get. As my C63 will be sold for around 130k € i have some options. As i said, i am not disrespecting, i just want to know what it was that made you decide to pick up the C63 BS. Hell i'm thinking about it myself but still need to know what's out there.

All things considered, I think I'd be pretty ok with people thinking I'm a douche in exchange for owning a 458

As well seller states the manufacturer warranty has expired (until Feb 2013). I didn't know Ferrari offers only 3 years warranty for such an expensive car
So is it really a great deal? For sure you pay for what you get.

C32, 911 Carrera S(991), C63BS
Now back to the OP's original question. I got the BS because I didn't wanto to mod a C63 coupe. It is essentailly a factory tuned car without warranty concerns that looks like nothing else on the road. I too have not seen another one in the Northeast. It will still look fresh 5 years from now.
