Painted calipers maintenance
For those of you who have their calipers painted how do you keep them clean and how often do you clean them? Or you don't really care?
Basically i thought about this while i was changing my wheels today. I noticed mine were full of dirt/dust that accumulated over the years. Although i wash my car/wheels i do not really focus on the calipers therefore i may miss some areas. Plus with 18" wheels it's not easy to access them.
Now that i have 19" I'm interested in having mine painted and since I was quoted around 900$ a few months back (by ACG) I realize I'll have to be more careful. Hence my question.

The finish on your OEM calipers is pretty durable.
Take some simple green and a plastis brush ( about as hard as a tooth brush bristle ) and spray down the caliper ( make sure it's cold ) and scrub it with the brush and rinse off repeat this once or twice and your good to go

soap and water works fine with me. I have some degreaser from my supplies for my maintenance company that I dilute in water and it works pretty damn well.

Invest in a pressure washer. Just bought one and my brakes are always nice and looking fresh. Car is p31 so brakes are red. Best decision I've ever made buying that thing

I bought an 9 dollar soft wheel brush off amazon to get between the spokes. It gets the caliber clean too. Works great.
