Beat a ZL1!
Had some friendly highway pulls with my friend who has a ZL1 camaro. The camaro has more power but is quite abit heavier I believe. The guy that drives the ZL1 isnt the most amazing at shifting so the results could have been different, I dont know..although I did drive it a couple times and did feel its a little slower than my OE tuned C63.
mods on my car are
OE tune
Power pipe
ADV SL wheels (maybe helps with light weight? these wheels are around 19-20lbs a piece)
ZL1 was stock...if he was modded I would probably be destroyed LOL
Beat him by about 1-2 car lengths...

They are amazing cars! Handles amazing and really quick. I didnt like the power delivery of the LSA though, but thats just personal preference I guess. Gear box is nice and feels great to drive. but obviously its abit down on the luxury side compared to C63.
the only thing that really sucks is the car is huge and the visibility is just like putting one hand on your forehead and the other under your eye....terrible LOL

I agree, the driving position in the Camaro is not too flash....high dash, & low roof.....a bit like driving a tank (via the "slit").
The Z28's just been released..7L LS7, Recaros & all sorts of other stuff?

I bought a 2012 Camaro convertible with the LS3 and 6-speed. Great car. Fast but not quick like the C-63. Camaro seemed cumbersome.
Got rid of it after six months. Visability was the main issue. I felt like I was driving a one-man submarine.

yep cant wait for that one. Carbon Ceramic brakes std, 7.0 n/a v8 DROOL. I wish AMG went that direction lol
yeah the visibility was horrible...

So how did the ZL1 run the Ring in 7:40? I think that's what it was. IIRC, i'm sure the magnetic shocks help. That time is about 6 seconds faster than the C black, which still seems odd.

The car is huge!! I think the reason its very fast around the track is that the suspension set up is nice, and the tires are pretty much racing tires. (305 in the back :o)
