Hey Guys, I decided to replace my RS4 with an AWD substitute so I ordered a RS5 four long months ago........ well, it finally arrived. I have only driven it for a few hundred miles but that's long enough to know I really love this ride. It is light years ahead of the RS4 it replaces.

The seven speed dual clutch and high revving V8 are exceptional. The suspension and steering are perfect for public roads and spirited driving...........this car even feels more refined than my CLS63. The interior is also nicely designed and I love Audi's use of upscale materials. The MMI and the Bang & Olufsen system are wonderful touches and only add to the overall package.

Here are a few photos taken by my talented friend Matt http://cargocollective.com/mattmarkiewicz:

My sister had an A4, and she got tons on electrical problems.. Did u get any problem with ur RS4? Ur RS5 will look sick with a set of LM or HRE.

Love the look in black! A friend ordered one in black with titanium package or something (I think you have the same options) and last I heard it was just going through the inspection at the dealer... I cant wait to see it in person! Congrats!

My RS4 was pretty flawless and that's why the RS5 was an easy choice.

I agree that it could use a few mm drop but the factory suspension is so perfect I hate to mess with it.

Amazing.... I saw one on the street the other day its so noticeable (to me) with its wide stance, beautiful wheels, and just overall appearance. And your interior is indeed most excellent. Im sure you will say that the CLS kills it but you would rather drive the RS5 daily. I feel the same way about my C63 Black Series vs my other cars that are faster/quicker.

I need to really drive this car... oh and why are you copying me again? GTR, CLS, Audi... I just got this guy 2 weeks ago:

Wow that RS5 is very nice! The reviews say that it is a great piece of machinery. Keep us posted as to the little special things you find out about this particular model.

I know they are really refined. Hows, the way it handles the bumps, and how do you like the steering? any noticeable torque steer, however slight?

Thanks for the great pix.

Oh and super Mod: I heard the R8 has the magnatheorlogical dampers and that it also drives really nice for a daily driver. Can you tell us what you think, when you get some time... I mean when your not driving your R8...hehe!

All the magazine reviews I've read really crap on the RS5's steering and handling, which turned me off from it. How does it feel to you?

Great addition Rock. I am sure you will love it.
Now tint those windows dark.
I just noticed that the Audis do not have that stupid reflector we have on the front sides on our bumpers. I originally thought this was dictated by govnmt but I guess not.

He bought new headlights to eliminate the orange I believe.

DOT rules still apply.

Just curious, can you get the RS5 with a manual or is it auto only? Love the R8 Vic.

You can only get the RS5 in DCT only. They are not bringing over the traditional clutch pedal and stick shift option.

The RS5's suspension is absolutely fantastic and far superior to my CLS63. It absorbs pretty much all road imperfections with no shimmy, rattles or drama. I also think the steering offers excellent feedback but I have not pushed it to the limit. Most of the negative reviews on the RS5 are preface-lifted reviews. Audi apparently made numerous changes to the new RS5.

Vic is right. I have ecodes (euro headlights). The entire headlight assembly was replaced.
