K&N filters for sale
Haha, funny story...
So I just bought these from c63philly because I talked to the guys at Vivid and they said they didn't replace the filters on my car (not throwing them under the bus, it was probably two years ago).
Anyway, I go to install them and find out the filters I'm taking out look suspiciously like the ones I'm putting in...and they are...K&Ns.
So I don't need these and am just looking to recoup what I paid. PM me if you're interested. They're the slightly used filters that reportedly have only 1,000 miles on them (I'm not swapping out my filters for these).

Not to thread jack but to help out. A lot of us have had issues with high flow filters. I recently went to green performance filters and also had the mass air throttle body code / CEL. After some reading and discussing with a friend who is a master MB tech. He suggested we not wipe the tune off but simply remove the cold start and fuel adaptations, hence the car would need to re-adapt to see the extra air it's getting.
Anyone getting these filters I highly recommend doing this.

K&N and no CEL. Ever.
One thing I do wonder is that those who swap out your filters often, any chance of stripping the thread for the screw? I know it's not the greatest set up for long term use...

I had to readapt my cold start fuel settings and regular fuel settings. Some cars don't need this and run fine. I wanted to the car to learn all the extra air that was coming in. Easy to so with a snap on scanner.
