About to purchase this C63 - take a look
New member here (usually spend my time over on M3forums), but looking at a new daily driver.
Before i pull the trigger on this one, wanted to reach out to the MB community and ask if anyone had any info on this particular car - i'm sure someone knows something about it.
2010 C63 - massaged by RENNTECH (ECU, airbox, exhaust, tune)
The car spent all of its life in the Boca Raton / Pompano Beach, Florida area.

a local MB dealer is listing the car now, but i figured someone might know the previous owner? if anyone can shed any thing on the car, i'd really appreciate it!

I haven't seen it on MBWorld before but it looks interesting although I think the taillights look ghetto.
It has some nice mods - Akrapovic exhaust, Arkym front lip, aftermarket CF diffuser, Forgestars F14 and a CF airbox. Renntech tune as well I presume.
What's the price?

Looks like an akrapovich exhaust, if so, that is a very expensive piece and top notch quality.
$47K sounds a bit much. It will take a special buyer to buy this car as it has been modified quite a bit. I sold my pristine CPO 2009 for $38K.
It would take you more money to buy a stock one and do the mods so if you really love the mods, it is a reasonable deal otherwise you can buy cheaper.

Looks good! It will be your car to change how you like but I agree the tail lights and limo tints are brutal! -I hate chrome but it might look better with less blacked out parts (or more)... the chrome hurts my eyes as it is currently. The wheels are nice and so is the diffuser and exhaust!

ps. Dont let the owner fool you into thinking it has the performance package! Those brakes were painted red after the fact! .. note the colour of the engine cover! Also that car has the old headbolts so that is something to always worry about in the back of your mind....

exactly my thinking - if i was going to add these mods after the fact, i'd be way above the asking price.
plus i could get them rolled into my financing and not come out of pocket for the hit.
From everything i can find, a 2010 with 25k on the clock should be around this price.

ps. Dont let the owner fool you into thinking it has the performance package! Those brakes were painted red after the fact! .. note the colour of the engine cover! Also that car has the old headbolts so that is something to always worry about in the back of your mind....
wait wait wait.....WHAT?
I'm learning about the headbolts now.....but the engine cover? how else could i confirm this does or does not have the performance package? the description he gave me says it does!

Well P30 is different from P31. My car has P31 notice the darker titanium colour instead of silver of the engine cover under the name plate. Also the old head bolts have the silver oil covers instead of black like on my car (See picture)
Im not too familiar with P30 but do know 2010s were supposed to have P31! Which makes it a little odd unless it was a ver early 2010.. but still Im not sure. Red brakes were only included in P31 and not P30... again Im pretty sure!

The P30 package doesn't come with red-painted calipers, but should still have the two-piece front rotors, which should be relatively easy to spot given the right photo or an in-person inspection.

They made P30 cars in 2010....the switch to P31 was mid year
That's a P30 car with calipers that were painted red afterwards.....which make sense since the previous owner did several mods...and caliper painting was probably one of them
The car looks like a good score with some mods everyone would like....i would still try and chisel a couple of grand off

as long as the car is mechanically sound I would go for it... try to knock off a couple more grand o course
miro is right in regards to p30/p31 on 2010. Noodleman has a 2010 and is a p30.
also, the headbolt problem is an issue but really, it is not as prevalent as ppl here on the forums make it out to be. I have a 2010... almost 60k kms... will drive it to the ground. If you can get warranty for it great.

To Fung's point, I just clicked over 48k miles and it's solid so far. Btw, those are definitely Akrapovic exhaust tips. I, personally, like the sound because it's different than stock and deeper. Other folks disagree.

If you want to make sure, go to your local MB dealer and ask them to pull the option list. You have the VIN number. If the car is still under warranty, I would not worry about the headbolt and get an extended warranty.
If you like the mods, then go for it. Try to get a few grand off and you'll get a great deal.
