2012 19" recommended wheel tire pressure???

I'm running OEM multi spoke 19's on my 2012 C63. Recommended tire pressure is 51 on the backs and 46 on the fronts. Seems a bit too high to me. What's everyone using as their current pressures (to those with the same wheels)? Tires are yokahama advans.
Thanks, jag

Where did you get those numbers? My car sticker on the door panel says 41f & 45r.

I'm running 40 all around w/ my multispokes for a comfy ride. 38 with my HRE.

This is odd that MB recommends different tire pressure on each vehicle.

It varies.
My info is on the inside of the fuel door. It states 38front 41rear, 3 passengers. 42f, 46r, 5 passengers, for speeds up to 155mph.
42front 44rear, 3 passengers. 45f 49r, 5 passengers, for speeds up to 174mph!

It doesn't matter what wheels you have, tire pressures should run the same. I follow the recommendations on the fuel door. 40 psi all around, ranging from 1-2 occupants in the car.

I agree with you, but why do we all have different recommendations on the inside of our doors? As I mentioned earlier, the inside of my door says 51 on the rears and 46 on the fronts. Seemed high to me, but I've kept them that way since purchase. I'm thinking I could be getting better traction and a smoother ride with lower pressure on all 4 corners. I'm thinking of dropping the pressure by 5 on all tires. Any thoughts?

That's the great MB mystery. Like you, I thought the recommended pressures inside the doors were quite high, and I suspect the ride will be very jarring. The numbers inside the fuel door makes more sense to me.
