B0 service cost?
Hello all,
So my 2010 C63 runs at about 32000miles and service light is on for B0 service. I contacted local MB dealer for estimation and they say it will cost about $550.00. It sounds a lot more than I expected...so before I decide to go with them, i would like to hear others experience regarding B0 service. Thank you guys!

Why are you calling the dealer? Call an Indy shop in your area it will be $200 or more less.
Dealer are such scammers, they told me my intake manifold was leaking while I just had a bad sensor. They wanted $4500.
Cost me $95, an hour diagnostic.

my wife bananas! :D
the oem replacement parts like filters etc will be the most expensive part of the service. a good indie shop will charge you like 1 to 1.5hrs max of labour.
mb here in canada quoted me 700 for B0 just a fyi lolz ... i paid less than half of that tax in lolz

It is very DIYable. I believe the only difference between the A and B services, is that B include cabin air filter, and engine air filters on top of the oil change, and the usual mechanic stares at your car for 30 min intently while eating his lunch to check for wear and tear
I believe the engine filters (sold in pairs) run around $20 to $30 (at least that is what I paid, the Cabin air filter is a rip, close to $60... $18 for the oil filter.
And its like a 30 minute job.. the hardest part is the cabin air filter which is a pain to get to, but can be done easily, just be careful not to break any of the glove box parts (I smile.. I broke a tab in the back somewhere heh.. has no discernible effect as far as I can tell)
All in all, you can probably do the service yourself for around $150 to $200, depending on where you get your oil.
