Looking to purchase - tell me what you think!
Hey all,
New to the site and looking to upgrade from a FBO bmw 335i to a C63 amg.
Please take a look at this car and tell me if the price is okay for the amount of miles on it. I saw it yesterday and looks great - clean carfax, one owner, updated maintenance, and fresh tires. Lastly, I can't tell if it has the development package?
Thanks!!!

Judging by the brakes (rotors and caliper color) it's a P31 package. Looks like a good deal to me but what do I know??
Get the VIN and have someone here run it so that you can get all of the appropriate information on it.

It has red calipers but no alcantara steering wheel. Looks like the front rotors are one-piece...
I say post the VIN in one of the decode threads and you'll get the list of all options.

C63, 335i
That definitely looks overpriced. There's a grey 2009 C63 with about 23k miles on it asking $42,000 at a local BMW dealership.
If it's 09 then the red calipers were most likely painted because the P30 package that year did not have red calipers. The lack of alcantara steering wheel also points to the same thing.
Just as a reference since I'm not familiar with the pricing for C63's in your area. I got mine a year ago for $45k out the door. It's an 09 with 32k fully loaded.

judging by the other comments and your VIN data card, I would say this is too much for that car but, if it's what you want then it may be worth it to you.
Just b/c it may not be worth it to me or someone else here, that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be worth it to you "One mans junk is another man's treasure"!
Every seller and car has a buyer, the question is, "how long do you have to wait to find that buyer"?
I could have spent a couple more thousand and bought a P31 over the P30 that I bought but, I wanted the Carbon Fiber interior that the P30 had, that was more important to me than the few extra features that the P31 possessed. IMO, my car at 40K was well worth the price I paid (previous owner owed and had to write a check for the $7XXX difference when I took it over). I knew exactly what I wanted to do to the car once I bought it (mods) I did my mod research so I knew how much extra money I would spend and knew about how much of a performance gain I would see, that was exactly what I wanted so it was worth it to me.
I know the history of the car from the 2nd owner to the last owner, there is a "dealer buy back" on it, and the reason is clear to me, I just had no concern for the idiotic reasoning of the original **** buyer to demand the dealer to buy it back over his miniscule concern of a couple interior parts not cooperating correctly.
Just take your time, do your research and make the right decision the first time, the car isn't after dinner dishes that you can re-wash if you don't clean them right.

i sold my full bolt on 335i as well before getting into my c63. only bought mine about 3 weeks ago. funny as i also bought a white sedan, which were the two main necessities of my purchase. for what its worth, i payed $50,549 for a 2011 with 9300 miles. the pricing on the car youre looking at seems fair to me. negotiate it down to 42000 even perhaps. anyhow, what was done to the 335 out if curiosity. i ran procede, catless ar dp's, helix fmic, had water/meth, ran on e85 and so on. the n54 is starting to make huge numbers.. good move on the c63, the car is absolutely the total package.. it blows away the 335 in quality, sound, braking, and power whether stock to stock or mod to mod. were you on e90 post by any chance? good luck, keep us posted with your decisions.

Just because the dealer is asking 43900, that doesn't mean you'll pay 43900 or he'll get 43900.
Pretty sure, if you walk into the dealer and our willing to buy now and right now, he'll agree to 40-41k.
