Recommendations on 20" vs 19" wheels

Just recently picked up my new 2013 C63 coupe and now I'm looking for the right set of wheels! My initial thought where to put on 20", however, based on some of the readings and research that I have done it appears that 20" have more con's then pro's over a set of 19"?

Any help here would be great! Cheers!

You have to consider the roads conditions in your area... there is no right or wrong from choosing 20's over 19's ... the only difference will be the height of the tire sidewalls which gets thinner with the 20's... therefore more prone to damaging the wheels if the roads in your area are bad.

Plus keep in mind that tire size/brands are more limited with 20's. Good luck in your decision.

In summary:
20's = for look
18/19's = for performance

Also take into consideration the design of the wheels. Wheels without a lip may look large enough in 19inch for the look you're going for. While a 19inch wheel with a lip may appear too small.

I had aftermarket 19s but decided to go 20s... To me it looks better but ride quality has suffered

What do you mean by "suffered"? I'm on OEM 19" and I feel that the ride is pretty ruff as it is...do 20"
cause a real drastic change in road 'bumps' feedback i.e. lower back pain suffering, LOL...

Or do you mean handling has suffered ?

You will use tires with a lower tire profile so the ride will be much rougher.
