I had check oil for next refill then i add about half of 5w-30 in it
Then run around 1h then i see this light

Check engine light and you put the wrong oil in the car. 5W-40 or 0W-40

what should i do now ? Im going yo dealer to change oil on next Monday.

1/2 a quart isn't going to do anything. If you're getting an oil change on Monday anyway I wouldn't be too worried.

On Monday get your dealer to pull the codes and fix accordingly.

My understanding is that the CEL is typically something emission related. I would guess that it had nothing to do about the oil...

A CEL can be literally anything not just emissions. Maybe emissions is more common but not just restricted to...

It happened just after the oil so chances are it is related to that, however, the only way to really tell us pull the codes and go from there.

Yeah you gotta put the right spec oil in as well, not just 0-5w40, I think it's 229.5 spec non diesel or you get lifter noise

The most current spec. is 229.51, and in it calls for 5W-40 ESP Formula M. The dealer will likely use Mobil 1 5W-40 Formula M (non ESP) per the older 229.5 spec.

229.51 just means it's fine for diesel and petrol cars.

ESP stands for Emission System Protection. It's a low ash formula. Here's a link to their page:

The CEL gone after couple days i guess the engine learned the new oil and be normal ?
