Yes it is possible. I have beaten an F10 M5 from a stop. There is a video of it happening from a roll as well with a P31 C63. That said, we have no idea what settings the M5 were in and if these were just fluke occurrences. I say just run the M5 so we can have more data!!!Originally Posted by Ahmed

nope you can't, its not a big stretch but the M5 will end up winning almost every single time.

Like everyone's saying, the M5 will end up winning in the end due to its power band being the higher rpm range. You might get a jump on one from a dig because the M5 is a bit heavier and we have more torque, but we have a hard enough time getting off the line as it is already.
However, I've heard we can potentially pull on one from a roll because of the torque, but in the end we still lose.
And this is assuming the cars are nearly stock. You would need full exhaust work from the manifold headers to the tailpipe (plus a proper tune) to thoroughly beat one. Or you can slap on Weistec's SC and call it a day.

If that's the car I think it is. It a Black Series with tune and headers.

being an ///M owner ( e60 m5 past, x5M current)
people should really give the m156 more credit, especially in the w204 chassis.
Fact is with a tune.. JUST a tune, the c63 will keep up till about 120-130 where the m5s turbos come into play and pull it like a freight train further onwards. Still, most races are till 130 anyways so the c63 is very good bang for the buck..

Speaking from experience(that first video is me), without mods a c63 will not beat an f10 m5 from a roll, and really only from a stop with a bad launch from the m5 or a short enough run that the BMW wouldn't have time to catch up.

Stock c63. 451 bhp @3900lbs = 8.6lbs per bhp
Tuned c63. 530bhp @3900lbs = 7.35lbs per bhp
Stock M5. 600+bhp @4400lbs = 7.33lbs per bhp
Note m5 stock Dyno wayyyyy above 500rw Stock thats why I used 600bhp.
500rw / .82 =610bhp (.82 is 18% drive train loss which with DCT is prob way less then 18%)
Unles u have a tune header c63 no way u beat a F10 on a Clean run from M5.
Btw I have both also and my c63 in NA form is pretty heavily modded and if I make a mistake In my c63 while shifting m5 will pass.
