I never looked at it that way. I looked at the potential of both platforms. For my use the decision was easy.

 

Your build and dedication inspired a lot of people, now your resolve will inspire. Glad you weren't physically hurt, can't wait to see what you are in for next!

 

Sorry for your loss! Its sad, because my car was almost totaled out last month but they were able to fix it! Health trumps a piece of metal everytime, cant put a price on limbs. Whatever you decide to get, i know itll b a monster in the making! Just make sure its barolo red! Haha

Anyone interested in the BS wing?? The stock BS wing is $4000 and I paid $2500 from Boca. Its a great piece and its NOT too much.

I do have all six of the black series 10 spoke stock OEM wheels for sale if anyone is interested. The front are 19 x 9" with a +25 offset. (4 of them)
The two rear were stock 19 x 9.5" wide and were widened to 11.5" The offset is now +72.

I'll make someone a great deal if they want these for a track car. All in very good condition.

OMG I'm gonna shed a tear in such tragedy. Although glad you are ok! Every time I got on this section of MBworld I would look for updates on what mod did Dads do next! What en epic build with a very sad ending!

Got the front bumper off. YIKES!
This is why she's totaled.


I am pulling the roll bar out if anyone wants a deal. I paid $3400 to have it custom fabricated and installed. Its a complete bolt in and out if you want it to. The rear has two pieces that weld in behind the seats as the pictures show. Otherwise it bolts in and out in less than 30 minutes.
I have the drivers door bar that will come with it but I never used it.

I'll sell it for $1500 plus shipping. Let me know.

may I ask how much you plowed into this project?
I hope your insurance company pays up a lot of cash for your car.

do you have anykind of special vehicles insurance for project or super cars in USA?
these special insurances have lots of restrictions like you can't use your car as a daily driver or go to work with it, stuff like that..

Sorry about your loss. Would you be willing to part out your driver side muffler tips?

 

I would be interested in the headers if you are going to keep parting it out.

 

I was able to get both muffler tips if you are interested.

Anyone who is doing the complete BS conversion with the rear bumper, I was able to get the entire exhaust set up off the car undamaged. From the header connection back including the MHP X-pipe and the two mufflers that go right into the BS rear bumper. I'll get pictures later today or tomorrow. Let me know if you are interested.
