In case anyone is interested in the car/motor. Its got the MHP Race ported heads and cams. The motor is worth more than $15,000 so $8100 is a steal.

that one with the car seat looks like someone got ejected through the windshield. jeez.. /hijack.

 

Based on the driver side door damage, it looks like that vehicle was t boned. The windshield damage may have been used to assist emergency responders with passenger extraction.

And seeing that baby seat (since I also have one in my back seat).. is heart breaking, I hope the child was not in the vehicle.

 

Also.. looking at the pics of Dads C63.. it looks like you need some window washer fluid :P

I have a couple doors left and some interior stuff, the rest of the car sold. I was really quite surprised.

 

Just out of curiosity, did you make more money selling the parts off over having sold the vehicle as a whole had the car not been in an accident?

Only reason I ask is because when the warranty runs out on my car, my wife is going to make me trade it (it has been in the shop, alot, and we cannot afford the repairs in the event something catastrophic fails). Since I still owe around 25k on the 2009 MY (I bought it in 2010 used with 14k on the clock), and for the most part the car is in good condition, but I doubt I would be able to sell it for what I owe due to the mileage I put on it (almost 75k miles in 3 years), I'm wondering if I parted it out would I be able to break even..

 

I think youre better off selling it running.
