Yeah, I'm Obsidian Black as well.
They have a build date and I just got told that my Sept/Oct delivery is now late November. 5 MONTHS!!!
I'm actually wishing I took advantage of the current sellout. Let's face it, all I'm waiting for is a few extra KW and a pair of nostrils.
Also wishing I went to another dealer. The guy I bought if from hardly returns phone calls now he has the deposit.

Maaaaannn I know how you feel man. My Trans Am has been at the paint shop since November of last year and it's all because they effed up the Matte black w/matte candy stripes twice now. Sadly, I can't take the car from them as I'll have to pay someone else to get it to look right. They've assured me it's gonna be right next month. We'll see...
Hang in there bro. It's not all that bad of a spot to be in unless you are currently driving something dangerous/unreliable. In the end you'll have something very handsome and coveted.

Means I have to spend more money on my RS4 too. Was hoping to limp along with the current discs, but now will probably have to replace them if I need to drive it until December...
Anyone else got a delivery date? Is it just Aus models that have been pushed back?

Obsidian Black. I almost went with the MAGNO matte silver. But I just painted my Trans Am Matte black with matte candy navy blue strips. I just couldn't have both my toys in matte flavor. So I went to my roots on this one - A rich metallic black will look sharp on this car. I can almost guarantee you, that MAGNO is going to get people talkin'. At night especially, that color will KILL bro.
Has anyone seen this on a car in the flesh? I'm dying to know what it will look like wrapped around this great looking car.

Congrats on your 507 order. When I ordered my C63 w/P31 package found out that that different motor (internals) takes 90 days longer. I waited 7 months from early order on a 2013.
Hope this helps the wait.

I saw a thread that said the P61 option is 9700. I called my dealer and he said its confirmed at 9750. So it's basically the same price as the P31 option ($6k) plus Designo leather ($3k). Fortunately the 507 comes standard with designo so you essentially get the hood, wheels, extra power over the P31 and striping for no cost. Sounds like a deal to me.

Yeah I was thinking the same...been lurking for a bit and was ready to throw down on a C63 but heard this was coming out...last of the RWD mega V8 sedans before everything is AWD and turbo.
Anyway - hopefully there will be a nice long run of these into 2014...
Benz should bring over the wagon for the last year - my guess is (as Chevy can attest with the CTSV-Wagon) there is a market...I would buy one over a sedan or coupe.
Was thinking about euro delivery...first new car in like 10 years...worse or better deal? Aside from the travel costs...
Anyway - hopefully there will be a nice long run of these into 2014...

This is the preliminary USA DOG and thus subject to change, but it shows Porcelain leather with Black DINAMICA inserts on the seats as standard. Same all in black w/ porcelain stitching is a N/C option, and black all leather is an extra cost option.

507 trim options?...Yes, from my memory of the publicity stuff I've seen, only 3 choices of interior trim were available...so red/black wouldn't be possible.
However, I can't see this in reality, because in Aus, the 507 replaces the P.P., where you have many alternatives.....my bet is that other trims, including red/black leather, will be available.

Managed this as a white one was on the boat to Australia already. The nice bonus is that this car has an LSD fitted. Looking forward to getting behind the wheel!

When discussing price, I kept emphasising that I was hovering between buying the 507 and waiting for the next gen C63 to come out, and that I was (justifiably) concerned by the expected loss in value once the new body shape comes out.
I guess everyone has their own approach, but given the general weakness in the global economy I'd be surprised if you couldn't squeeze a few dollars off the starting price.
