Yeah, I woudl agree that there is only one ship that will get my car and yours here on the "current" schedule; the vessel Morning Crown arriving and departing Bremerhaven on 15th October. She's currently steaming up the coast of Holland at 16.2 knots.
It gets into Melbourne on the 25th November, so there is a chance you could get yours by the end of November.
I gues we'll know in 48 Hours.

I traded my 911 in today on a 2014 c63 507.......I pick it up next week.....this is my first benz ....I wanted something I could drive everyday.....but still wanted the performance of a sports car..I hope this car wont disappoint....

I note that all of the cars are out in the open air. No undercover storage. My poor car has been sitting in the weather for two weeks.Still nothing on the "track and trace" so probably has not been loaded at this stage.
I sent the dealer the shipping schedules and they have now agreed my car is not comming in November. That said, they don't have an updated delivery time.
Checking every 10 minutes.
Am I excited?. ABSOLUTELY. Does MB share my excitement? Not a chance.

I still have a '03 1500 HD Silverado with a STS turbo and I traded a '71 280SE 3.5 Coupe. Sportier type cars I had a '70 2000 GTV Alfa Romeo, '79 Z28 Camaro and a '86(?) Maxda RX7.

My car is on the Parisfail which left Bremerhaven last night. It's currently steaming past Holland at 16 knots.
Bad news is that this cruise stops all over the damn world!!

Great news!!! Interesting, so it looks like yours is heading via the US. I tell you, it looks like you can't get a straight answer from anyone in this car business... I was told that Melbourne is the port of choice for MB cars. in reality, i think, it doesn't really matter... they can process them in any large aussie port. Incidentally, Pt Kembla is Australia's largest vehicle import hub.... (not to mention coal). where is yours getting offloaded? Fingers crossed mikenbn's car also made it onboard.

Unfortunately not so lucky for me - My VIN is still not registering on either of the boats that departed yesterday.. So the wait continues for me ... Will be interesting to see if the dealer calls me with an update or if I have to hound them in a week or whenever it does manage to get on a boat.

Don't get your hopes up, but don't give up just yet. I thought my car must be going on Morning Crown and the Parsifal had already sailed. But it took them a good 18 odd hours to upload the data. There is a chance that your car is on the Morning Crown which hasn't sailed last time I looked.

I had another call from the dealer, the communication I sent to MB head office in Germany just got sent back to the dealer. Unbelieveable.
I guess forwarned is forarmed. I would hazard to guess that if you have ANY issues with the car you are going to be left with the dealer.
It's great to lull yourself into this dream that you are buying into a prestige brand and becomming part of the glorious MB community, but at the end of the day, it's just a car, and you just have to deal with car dealers.

Ship docked in Melbourne on schedule on Sunday 20/10/13. The car was offloaded on 21/10/13 and is "in the system", on the way to the dealer. I checked with Wallenius Wilhelmsen and the dealer. I am in contact with the dealer daily re the progress. APC Logistics is the freight forwarder and they have this online portal "Xtract" where clients with logins can check the progress. I presume either MB Australia and/or dealer have access to this, so i will be asking daily re the progress. Once APC Logistics is done with the customs clearance the car is handed over for overland transport to PrixCar. I am trying to apply as much scrutiny to the remaining transport/delivery process as possible so any potential delays are either eliminated or reduced to absolute minimum. Am watching it like a hawk!

Just received the VIN for my darling wife's A45. It's still at the factory, but there is a fair chance it my arrive in Australia this year.
The 507 is currently off he coast of Newfoundland and is back in tracking range, so it appears to be on schedule (the delayed...delayed....delayed schedule).
I sooooooooooo feel the need for speeeeeed.
