For info, in EPC the intake manifold is not broken down into subcomponents, i.e. the entire manifold, with tumbler etc., is all one number. The dealerships probably have to replace it all in one go.

On ECS Tuning the inlet manifold is available for 2679US$. There are 2 versions (1561410801 and 1561410901), the normal, and the Black Series (= same as 507?), both cost the same. So, if the dealership charges 3,500$ installed, it is not that bad.

Yes, an independent shop may be able to get you a couple hundred less, but not much.

Let me know, if I am missing something - always happy to learn!

Yup I have the same exact whistle on cold start ups on my 2010 PP.

Awesome! Was worried I might have a small vacuum leak myself after installing the Weistec air/oil separator, but since you've got it too it sounds like it's normal.

I changed yesterday this part

But it was not broken - the part is ok.

After that we checked the screws from the intake manifold - 3 screws were not fixed.
After we fixed all 10 screws the noise was gone.
I hope that was the problem
