My new CF bonnet
It didn't turn out 100% what I wanted it to be after explaining to the painter thousand times but I think it still acceptable.
What do guys think?

Thx crazy1eye!
What didn't turn out right?
Well, as you can see on the 2nd pic., I was going to leave the entire air vent border unpainted but the painter was either unskillful or too lazy and didn't cover it up with masking tape properly and at the end he painted the top a bit.

hey man. i like the fading idea.
tbh honest... i'm not a fan of the look. i think the two exposed cf parts attract too much attention. when i look at it, i see the cf vents first and almost have to adjust my eyes to take in the whole car. (might be just that picture)
i'm in the camp of having all appearance mods work together so the attraction is the entire car not just a specific spot. After taking in the whole vehicle, ppl will then start picking out where the mods are. just my 2 cents

WOW, I never looked at the price of a VIS hood for the C63. That's interesting, I hope the quality is different from their other hoods that cost half as much.

When shopping for my CF hood I contacted Stone Carbon directly and although the price of the hood itself was 1/2 of U.S. priced hoods there was also shipping and import tax. All totaled the Stone Carbon hood was going to be about $150 more than the VIS hood I ended up getting. Perhaps others could explain how the SC hood was going to be less??

I like it, fade is good but I know what you mean about painting the top pece of the vent., I think keeping that in carbon would have been perfect. Anyway well done!
