Front Plate Options - Tow Hook v Lower Center - Conversion Pics

OK... so a year with the tow hook option, always felt civic-like with the offset plate and converted to a lower grill mount with a modified OEM plate and stainless zip ties.

A or B?

A.

I did take pics along the way for a DIY... I just can't stand the thought of drilling the front bumper.

A. I have too hard of a time keeping my oil temp down and putting the plate there makes it even worse.

Where do you live to have temp issues? I made everything reversible and my oil usually ran around 210 before this so I'll watch it.

Virginia Beach. Sometimes the outside temp gauge reads 110 from the hot asphalt. and in traffic with dirty airflow and an aggressive driver like me, I have seen 250ish with the tow hook mount. On the track (where I would probably remove B), I have seen 268.

Why not use the same kind of tape that is used to attach the trunk spoiler to mount the front bracket without drilling any holes in the bumper?

Highway Cruising = 215F
Some Spirited Driving = <230F

Looks unaffected.

I prefer the OEM bracket on the front bumper. Option A & B both look out of place, not my taste. I know u don't like to drill holes in ur bumper or kill the lines of the front bumper, but it looks better where it belongs + I got used to mine.
