Final Dyno Results
The atmospheric conditions were pretty close to the last time I was on the dyno exactly a month ago. I think at that time, the temp was floating around the mid-70s and the humidity was also like 71%. Today's stats were in the upper-70s and about 66% humidity.
Here are the results. I actually did several runs a month ago and a few more today, so don't get thrown off by the naming of the runs.
Run 1: Velos tune
Run 2: Powerchip tune
Run 3: Stock file
Setup - this is a Mustang Dyno and there is a huge fan pumping in air from the outside, plus two more fans directing that air to the intake. There were at least 3 runs on each file so we just took the median number to try to eliminate any bias.
The best results showed about a 13whp+ gain and 18wtq+ gain over the Powerchip tune.
Just for kicks, I also had a dB meter on my phone which measured a max of 102dB during the runs

In case it isn't obvious, I should point out that the solid line is run 1 (Velos), the tight dotted line is run 2 (Powerchip), and the wide dotted line is run 3 (stock).

Maybe bc of the headers and exhaust, the room for gains from the tune is not as great? What's your total wheel gain over bone stock?

Numbers look a tad low as others have mentioned but real test is against another car. I did 421whp on dynojet in similar conditions (higher reading than mustang of course) with a tune.

I'll have to do some runs with the local guys. BO Knows has a Eurocharged tune with Akropovic exhaust and Anthony McKay has a stock P31 car. We've done runs before but that was the night my CEL came on and started blinking.

looks about right. I think you guys are overlooking how much lower mustangs read. You cant modify and trick the inputs. What you see is what you get. Non of this honda fan boy nonsense making 700whp on pump gas with 1.8L lol. my weistec stage 2 does 538hp/534tq on mustang. meanwhile you hear about tune only 63's making 480whp.
