He was going to wait to post pics and vids until his insurance was taken care of. Also, the State of California may try to stick him with something for the fire. That's why I haven't posted anything either.

I'm not sure how long it burned for. He pulled over because the GTR black edition in front of him drove off the road and flipped into a 100ft ravine. He and another friend of mine helped pull out the 2 people trapped upside down. Meanwhile, somehow, his car caught the brush on fire.

Agreed with everyone else, this shouldn't of been posted. Insurance has a way of finding these videos/pictures when a claim is made and they will always try to void a claim when possible.

Well I was just trying to help minimize the exposure, but I guess with the sensational nature of this event and everyone being social media eager, it was bound to fly around.

Yep, that's my car. I was planning to make a post with photos and a video of the crash itself and explain everything in detail, but was waiting till after my insurance settled everything just to play it safe. I can't imagine they'll deny my claim since I was pulled over and reacting as the first person on the scene (therefore, I wasn't exactly thinking about where I was parking my car). But you never know with insurance companies.
And not even a week after I had finally mounted some new wheels and installed some H&R springs, haha! Here's a shot of mine and neoprufrok's cars before the drive

Not sure why he is concerned about his insurance company, it is a completely legit reason forma fire to start....

Sorry to see your car go up like that. You should be fine with your insurance. I too, lost my 1st C63 and had insurance pay me out and I bought another one. Was fhe Rally well organized? How many cars were on the Rally? Where did the fire take place at? Just a few questions of interest, as I have been intimately involved in planning and organizing a couple of Similar Rallies in the past. It is a BIG venture!
