Changing the bottom front grill - Help!
Hello folks,
So my front grill broke. Not a lot, just a few pieces. Everything around it is intact.
I am going to the dealer today to buy a new one (cost around CAD $50).
My question is, is changing the grill considered a difficult task or not?
Dealer wants to charge me $350 for labour however the average Joe will charge a lot less than that. So is it ok to go to the average Joe store or does this require a sophisticated AMG technique?
Pardon my ignorance.

You have to remove the bumper. I replaced mine with a fellow forum member who helped me remove the bumper. Once the bumper is off it is pretty easy. Mine broke while I was on the freeway couldn't avoid a truck tire. I bought the piece for cheap from an online parts site.

Yeah it's not too bad. I'll shoot you a YouTube link for removing the front bumper later when I am not using my iPhone. It took me about an hour just taking my time. I agree. $350 is absurd for an hour of work.

Here ya go. The light removal parts you can ignore. But one thing I didn't notice from the video, in front of each wheel well under the bumper is a big plastic post that sticks out and the bumper has guides that slide onto those. It's hard to describe but easier to see when you take the bumper off.
