In anticipation of the cold weather I've reserved both lanes at MIR (1/4 mile race track in Maryland) on November 16th. The DA that time of year should be good for records and MIR is one of the best tracks in the country! The negotiated cost is $100/car (half what they would normally charge for a offseason weekend rental) and $10/spectator. Hours are 9am until 5pm. If you want to see what your car really can do, this is your chance. Run as many times as you want and little to no lines!

Btw, this event is open to all makes/models and we usually have a nice group of high end cars. I've only been watching or running othe rpeoples cars recently but hopefully I get to run my own this time!

Ummm why are you posting this in my thread? You can start your own. Are you saying there won't be high hp cars at this event? Charging $275/car and $40 for spectators is a bit much don't you think? I know how much MIR charges and so does everyone that's been to one of my rentals. Putting quite a bit in your pocket huh? I've been doing this for years.

Looks like a great turnout with some of the fastest benzes in the country attending as well as other high hp cars. I can't wait! Cars from Cali, FL, NY, etc etc making the trip
