So today as I was heading to eat late night snack with a few friends I needed to merge in and this matte orange m3 (199 PLG) gets all pissed off and starts high beaming me on the bridge for a good minute and when it slowly became a two lane he decides to pass me and cuts me off and starts fingering me, and the of course what else could I have done I flipped him off too, and that wasnt even the end of it he starts swerving in and out between lanes in an attempt to **** me off? Is it just vancouver m3 drivers that are douche bags or everywhere else is the same. Just needed to rant about my experience with them. (Of course there are a lot of mannered m3 drivers.)

Not to be picky, but I hope he "gave you the finger" rather than "starts fingering you." He should have at least paid for your late night snack before doing the latter.

M3 owners here are pretty cool. I've gotten the thumbs up from one (on the record per my YT videos) and one tonight actually did a photoshoot of our cars, a continuation from the other night with a matte M3 and an Edition 1.

I find M3 drivers to be some of the better/cooler BMW drivers. Now 135i drivers...they drive like you described.

You're definitely onto something there - BMW and now Audi drivers seem to be bigger jerks than most. I have to say I wasn't surprised to read the study that rory linked above (thanks!).

Yes, it is the driver and not the car, but certain types of cars appeal to certain types of drivers, and the "premium sporty" brands like BMW and Audi attract more of the jerks with their sense of entitlement. A Benz on the other hand generally appeals to a more mature audience.

I've had both BMWs and Audis in the past so I don't know what that says about me, but I no longer have them and moved to Benz instead which hopefully makes up for it.

It's the driver. I feel that people who understands and appreciate these cars (AMGs, M3s, etc.) tend to be more mature in the presence of a "rival" car. I've given plenty of thumbs up to M3s because I can appreciate what their car is; and vice versa.

What really irks me is those teenagers with FR-S's and tC's trying to race me. Those are good cars but come on bro.

I've never had any problems with any M3 drivers before. Usually we exchange thumbs and admire each others car! Just went on a drive to Monterey Car Week with a couple of them amongst some other cars just this last week

Had a little fellow driving a white m3 BMW, base ball cap on sideways, could barely see above the wheel fly past me on the right side then as soon as he passed jumped in front of me even though his lane was still open. I slowed down to allow space between us and jumped into the right lane. This lane was now moving better than his, needless to say twice passing me was enough, gave the E a little git up and go, last time we seen the BMW.

Oh god...I had a 135i driver pull up beside me and rev the engine..I laughed. Saw a **** what are those cars called again they chevy makes that are SS? those little coupes the 4cyl ones..I forget...Anyways the girl had the plates "HURRY UP" and kept riding my *** @ 110km ..stupid people.

Cobalt SS, dropping down 2 or 3 gears on the paddles quickly clears out the people who like to draft.

In Dallas all M3 drivers are idiots. Especially the poser M3s in 328i, why I have no idea. Pathetic really.

From my experience the age of the driver is a significant factor. I'm old so I've already concluded my driving skills are marginal and life is short, so enjoy yourself without being too much of a dick. Now I did get cut off by C63 a couple of months ago because I wouldn't race him in traffic...........

No, they drive aggressively. Ride your bumper and make unsafe maneuvers to get around you, but if the road opens up to where you could race they suddenly decide they don't want to anymore.

It's all up to the driver and certain categories of drivers prefer certain cars over others although there are exceptions.

I know it won't solve any problems but why not just get in front of him and mess with him a little bit...jus saying you have the faster car. I had this kid in a Toyota Camry V6 tailgating me on the freeway with his high beams and flipping me off. As he pulled into the next lane to pass, I just sped up and blocked him off just enough and wait for him to start tailgating me again and brake check him a few times. He got the message after awhile and dropped back lol.
