So I met my first angry e92 M3 driver today..
Well it started at a red light and we were looking at each others rides, and we had the windows down, and I was like "sweet ride", and then he stuck up his middle finger at me. So then when it turns green he just floors his gas and goes like 70 on a 35 and there is an unmarked cop 2 cars back.

lolz. i said this before, but I really don't understand aggro drivers that own a car that is supposed to be a competitor to amg, or any car for that matter. I see nasty rides all the time in my hood, and I love them all!

Yeah, it's a bad road, and especially, I'm a new driver. My dad has always said he'd rather rent me some track time than have me go f**k around on the street.
and @Maximus Yeah, I love all rides, I prefer AMG over the rest, but that doesn't mean I HATE BMWs, Audis, etc, I was complimenting him, and he was a douche.

New driver, C63...Nice car for a high school student. Glad to see I'm not the only idiot out there. My 18 yr old son is now in my 2012 Audi S4, I mean his S4. All I can hope for is if he's confronted with a similar situation as yours, he acts as maturely as you did.

Will have to tell my Dad! He feels the exact same way, thinking he's the biggest idiot out there when it comes to buying his son a car. And :P I'm a freshman in college haha, but same thing, graduated early because my school offered extra credits (Sorry if I'm coming across as a douche, but for the first year while I'm settling in, to me it feels like a HUGE step ), but either way, I don't think anyone who doesn't have 10 years+ of experience should try anything stupid like what that M3 driver did. Heck, even a 50 year old shouldn't try it, but shouldn't and unable are two different words.

THIS. I never understood the glares from other drivers just for downshifting and coming to a stop from LEGAL speeds. Stupid people out there who will never appreciate a fine piece of machinery.

It's not that they don't appreciate it, it's because they're jealous it's not them driving it. You instantly become the cause of all of their own failures in life. It's always easier to blame someone else, and you're it in your nice car while they have to do with a Chevy Cavalier.

I've never understood that mentality... As a car enthusiast, I lost most all cars. I would LOVE to also own an M3 Usually I exchange a thumbs up with other drivers of awesome cars!

Haha I'm so happy karma got him so quickly. I'm with you guys. A great car is a great car regardless of the make/model or race/color/creed of the driver. Big props on your maturity. Much more mature then a lot of us older guys. I probably would have dusted him. Or at least waited for the right opportunity. I played with an M3 the other day. It's not really fair in a straight line but we both had fun and tossed up a thumbs up as we went our separate ways.

haha, I had a good one just about an hour ago.
There's a cut through road that people use all of the time, the speed limit is 35mph and it's a neighborhood with very very modest homes and it's close to a high school.
Anyway, I was just using that cut through and a dad in his late 40s and his high school daughter are walking in the street, he had a large shop broom in his hand. As I'm coming around a corner around 40mph, I down shift and slow down a touch since there's people in the road (about 200 ft ahead of me) and he makes an angry face and steps into the road and swings the broom like he's going to hit my car. I just kept driving at him at the speed limit and his daughter pulled him out of the way. He was yelling all kinds of nice things at me, I just smiled and actually laughed at him as I drove by. He was steaming pissed, I almost stopped to tell him I was going the speed limit, but the car is just really loud, but I knew better.
He probably lives a $h!t life and is broke and he figures other people are out to get him. If he was doing well, he'd get out of that crap neighborhood For the record, I'm in my late 30s, married with kids and hardly some gang banger rippin down his street, hahaha.
