Rim opinions, also some updated car pictures
So finally got some pictures up of my Mode Carbon Luftstrom Front Spoiler,
Luftstrom Rear Diffuser, and bootlid spoiler! let me tell you, this stuff fits awesome and get so many compliments on these pieces.
- Side markers are off being painted to match the body
- tint appointment is booked in for next week
- 507 hood and shift knob are on order
- OEM carbon mirrors should be here next week
- A one off OEM carbon grill should be here then also.
Which leaves me with a few things I need to get on before snow hits.
- Vinyl wrap gloss black the trim around the doors, and bottom lights
- KW coilovers
- some interior carbon
- engine mods
But my main concern right now is a nice set of rims, and i'm turning to the great mbworld members for their personal opinion. Ive narrowed it down to 4 sets, and well im torn.
1) HRE FF01 7 Spoke Mesh Satin Black 19"
2) Volk G25 Formula Silver/Black Clear/Rim edge 19"
3) Vorsteiner VS160 Wheels Gloss black 19"
4) HRE P43SC Black 19"
Ive also thought about going gloss red, but I dont know how well that will go over.

Not to threadjack but I'm beginning to do some research on acquiring some HRE wheels. Getting ready to buy winter tires and I'm going to use the stock AMG wheels as my winter rims.
Trying to find an 18" HRE wheel that I can use in the summertime. Good to see HRE has a presence on this board.

Volks and HRE p43SC are nice choices. Different budget though!
I wouldn't go red with your actual color combo.

Well if u want wheels, I would go either Volks G25 (maybe Bad430benz is selling his set?).. Or HRE P43SC. Not a fan of HRE FF series.

Can't go wrong with Volks, they weight 19lbs each & only cost ~4k$ a set. Expect to pay ~7k$ for the P43SC. So depends on ur budget.
In summary : P43SC > Volks G25 > Vorsteiner > HRE flow formed.

My choices would be in order:
1. HRE P43SC
2. Volk G25
Not on your list.

2. HRE P47SC
I would love to see a set of BBS LMs on a C63 or even Rotiform SJCs but you cant get that much dish on a C63.

Nate, the G25 is for the ISF not the C63.
OP, if u get the G25, u should ask for the Dark Silver with Prism Clear.. It's not listed on the Volks ordering list, but it's available. U can google it, it's a beautiful finish.. Like gunmetal.

Most wheels I want to replace the center cap with the stock MBZ caps. HRE wheels, I leave those caps on. Once you take a tour of their plant (yes the actually make their wheels in San Diego) you are sold.
