That seems the way manufacturers are moving nowadays. Someone with an A class told me it works really well, he was very enthusiastic about it! BMW's M4 has something similar as well, if I remember the spy shots correctly.

Looks interesting. I don't like the COMAND screen - sure a lot more manufacturers are doing it, but in these pictures, it looks cheap/tacked on. I think the BMW 3 did it right, at least somehow integrate it into the dash to make it look cleaner.

^ yeah me too! heads up display is definitely an improvement. I'm still not liking the dashboard/center console. It'll probably take time to grow on me

if you look at the wheel you can see what looks to be paddle shifters on both side. granted they are smaller than existing paddles, but you can see them. second to that, you can see what looks like the start of the AMG logo on the floor mats.

like everything other than the ipad as well. Great to see theres now HUD and a larger tach (for track i think it will help me). touch pad is cool but have to see how well it works.

I was disappointed when I first saw the tablet style screen. It looked like a backward step as the facelifted models had dropped the idea from the previous models. It's starting to grow on me, however and it may work much better in everyday use. Give it a chance! The interior looks very high quality.

Looks amazing ! A high quality interior and really like a baby S-Class.
On the AMG (or even across the range) they could just use the paddle shifters to engage gears (neutral & reverse would just be 'Down 1' and 'Down 2' from Gear 1)...

I also dislike the new way Mercedes are mounting the Comand center, but I'm sure that everything else in that interior is top notch! I wish my car looked like that on the inside, now my c63 will look so dated to me...
