I doubt u can run spacers with 275 w/o rubbing. Unless the 507 have different fenders.
Edit: I see 149max is using 10mm with 275.. U must rub right?

I would expect same - either 275s or spacers, but it also depends on the tires. Beware of RE-11s, they are fairly square and a bit wider than many others.

My rear fender clip (where bumper meets the rear quarter panel) is modified tho. Which gives me way more clearance.
Without the mod, you will prolly rub for sure if lowered.
Here's another shot of the rear fitment.

I'm considering buying 507 wheels for my stock suspension 2013 C63. Any input on the optimal tire size that I can accomodate? I am thinking to go with 275/30 for the rears and stick to 235/35 for fronts but am not sure how the rears would look on a 9" wide wheel.
Also, are both front and back 507 wheels at +45 offset?

I'm interested in getting 275 width tires for my 507's rear wheels. Can anyone recommend 10mm spacers? Do I also need to get longer lug bolts?
The tires I'm considering for my next purchase would be the MICHELIN PILOT SUPER SPORT 275/30ZR19.

Adding a spacer will certainly require a longer lug bolt. However, if you are on stock springs, you MAY not need the spacers. Need input from someone who has tried that with the MPSS tire.

What did you do to modify that fender clip exactly. Looks great.

Hi there, Quick question. will adding spacers hinder performance in any way? I too am looking to get wider in the back. And I sure like the look but not sure if I want to compromise handling performance.

In front, you will see a slightly higher tendency to follow ruts, and if you hit a bump with only one wheel and not the other, you feel it more at the steering wheel. So, maybe not a good idea, if you want to drive with your knee while applying make up, but other than that, not a problem. My front track is also over 4 inches wider than stock and I love how it handles.

Has anyone ran the stock 9 inch rears with 275 tires and 5 mm spacers?
From the Tirerack site, I see that 275 MPSS section width is exactly 18 mm wider than the 255's, so on a 9 inch wheel, that would be 9 mm more rubber on the inside and on the outside.
That should not rub on the outside, but I think it will rub on the inside, so by adding 5 mm spacers, you are going to get only 4 mm less clearance on the inside, but the tire will stick out 14 mm to the outside.
My winter tires are 9.5 et 45 with 255s and do not rub. That setup is basically extended by 15 mm to the outside and it's fine.
The only thing that I cannot put into perspective is that the 255s are a bit stretched on the 9.5 wheel, so that naturally helps with no rubbing. A 275 on a 9 inch would bulge to the outside a bit...thoughts??

I read somewhere that another guy was having rubbing issues with 275 on the inside, which makes sense cause it's pretty tight in there. That's why I thought that a 5 mm spacer would work work for the inside clearance, but not sure about outsude.
