Sorry for an other "dumb question' but you still need to use the connection inside the glove box than connect this item at the end of the cable ?
Does this allow you to charge your ipod too ?

Hi, I;m also interested in getting this for my 09 but I'm not sure where to connect it. My glove compartment only has the 12V socket and a white headphone jack. What cables do I need for it? Thanks in advance!

yeah, you'll need the iPod integration kit to use this thing. if you only have the aux cable, then you can use another solution like the blackberry Bluetooth connector, but you'll have to use the phone to change songs.
