Whats the record / fastest non-P31 completely stock non-tuned C63?
Can't find it in the 1/4 mile sticky as all those cars are modified. I vaugely remember seeing a 12.1x somewhere... but not sure.
Does anyone know what the record is for the quickest non P31, completely stock, on stock rubber?
I'm looking to break that record and want the goal clear

Okay, I think I found something:
12.168 by mthis - BUT I argue this isn't 100% stock as Drag Radials & K&N filters were used. Drag Radials are arguably are one of the best "mods" you can have at the track as getting off the line and getting a low 60ft is absolute KEY to an overall good ET.
My run of 12.257 (0.089 off) was on stock Conti 255 street tire rubber.
What is the consensus folks? Drag Radials considered stock? I would say an emphatic "no".
But let me know what you think - and I'll shoot to beat the currently "questionably stock" C63 and be the fastest TRULY 100% stock C63 to date.

I think someone mentioned a 11.9xx in one of the threads. I think I have seen a couple of them just under 12 seconds. Not 100% sure but think he was stock on stock rubber. It was also a '12 or '13 with the MCT. Might have been a P31 just don't remember. You might find it with a search on 1/4 mile. GL getting the record, you are in the right area of the country to do it.

But that's my opinion, people love to stretch the word "stock" and "only". IIRC the "cam only" LS1 record is 9.986 @132.17 but the car is a sub 2,900lbs race car and much more than just "cam only"

My run was off the showroom, could of been a test drive stock, lol. Well, I lowered air pressure, but that is it.

Just because 6 members have replied doesn't mean you have the record.
Trust me, it's probably high 11.9s.. but I guess you can try to hit that mark.

The 1/4 mile thread shows high 11's / low 12's but thats all tuned, headers, highly modded cars.
But prove me wrong as I find this too easy to be true. Until then, looks like I may be it. Don't let that discourage you - I'm an experienced drag racer. This community seems to only have a handful of racers. My HEMI background - the 1/4 mile is the only "track" spoken of.
In addition, I had near perfect conditions and I was at one of the fastest tracks in the North East -1000DA, less then 1/4 tank of gas, decent launch (1.93 60ft) - and a high trap for stock. In that cool air, I was making good power. Its not really a suprise to me.
Again, prove me wrong though so I can beat the record if its not already mine.

I ran into the same issue searching through posted times when I ran 11.915 at 118.40 with a 1.870 sixty at Atco back in March - I wasn't able to find any P31 quicker/faster in 100% box stock condition, everything I found had tires/dr's or a tune but who knows… then again I haven't looked in a while so things may have changed.
