2012 C63 AMG noise when put into gear?

2012 C63 AMG noise when put into gear?
Hey,
Just curious if anyone else can replicate this noise. When the vehicle is put in Drive or Reverse and then given just a tad of gas there a POP noise. Not crazy loud but noticeable. Every time i go into Drive/Reverse or vise versa it does it ONLY when i apply gas. I can even hold the brake pedal down, switch to drive or reverse and hear the POP noise. I had someone in the car do it and i pinpointed it to the rear end area.
Side note: i noticed this noise the day after the track.... one run i had some bad wheel hop.....im HOPING its not related.
There are no other ill side effects at all.
Car has 6k miles

Not often. Every now and then. I get wheel hop sometimes in the track and street. The only thing that worries me is that the wheel hop can be quite aggressive. I back out as soon as it starts.

Got the car back from the dealer,
I need a new diff. Just wanted to put an answer here for anyone else who may have the issue.
Job is under warranty even with my extensive modifications! woot!

Yea it would be a good time to do it but im not going to push my luck. Im happy its covered and thats all. I took the part number from the invoice they gave me and did a quick search on google and found it for $5,000. No thanks lol.
